This article will list the file locations for certain types of files inside of the game files.
How to access the game files
To access the game's files on Steam, right click the game in your Steam library, hover over 'Manage', and then click 'Browse local files'.
Audio files
Audio files are stored in the audio folder. Monster sounds and sound effects are in two separate folders inside of the audios folder, with Monster sounds being in the music folder, and sound effects being in the sfx folder.
Font files
Font files are stored in the fonts folder. Font textures are in gfx -> fonts.
Menu xml files
Menu xml files are stored in the menus and menu_templates folders. Main menus are in menus.
Particle files
Particle files are stored in the particles folder. Particle textures are in gfx -> particles.
Lua files
Lua files are stored in the scripts folder.
Shader files
Shader files are stored in the shaders folder.
Text files
Text files are stored in the text folder. Filename stands for the language of the text file.
Bin files
Bin files are stored in the xml_bin folder.
Monster xml files
Monster xml files are stored in the xml_resources folder.
Cached files
Files downloaded via a cache update (i.e the text saying 'Downloading new files...') are stored in C:\Users\yourpcusername\AppData\LocalLow\Big Blue Bubble Inc\My Singing Monsters\1\downloads
